Staffline is seeking dedicated Luggage Handling Specialists to support our esteemed client, DHL, at a major airport.

Compensation: £13.19 per hour

This is a full-time position involving rotating shifts in a 5 on/3 off schedule. Shift times: 3am, 5am, 10am, or 12pm, requiring flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Luggage Handling Specialist, you will perform duties in the Baggage Unit and Airside, including:
  • Processing luggage for onward travel
  • Utilizing both manual and automated systems for customer baggage
  • Operating specialized equipment within the Baggage Handling Unit
  • Delivering luggage to the aircraft side for loading
  • Ensuring adherence to airline and airport regulations
  • Maintaining a safe working environment
  • Adapting to challenging weather conditions to ensure operational efficiency

This role involves manual handling, so candidates must be physically fit and capable of lifting and moving luggage weighing up to 30kg.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess a calm demeanor, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. You should work effectively within a team and respond swiftly and accurately to various situations. Willingness to undergo a medical assessment is required.

Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
