Job Title: Laboratory Analyst

Organon is seeking a skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team at our world-class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In this role, you will be responsible for the testing and analysis of our products, ensuring that all testing performed at Cramlington meets the highest standards of quality and complies with both internal and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work to the highest standards of quality and comply with both internal and external cGMP, cGLP requirements
  • Ensure that all areas work within Organon and regulatory guidelines
  • Plan and schedule testing, ensuring customer service/testing metrics/site metrics are achieved and monitored
  • Develop and produce new SOPs/job instructions to maintain and further encourage standard practices and compliance status of the departments
  • Support laboratory deviation occurrences, helping with root cause identification and CAPA solutions
  • Drive and contribute to department continuous improvement using lean principles and problem-solving tools
Requirements:
  • Degree in a science-related subject or equivalent work experience
  • Experience of a laboratory environment
  • Understanding of testing and laboratory functions
  • Planning and organizing skills
  • Forward thinking and solution-focused
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • High-level communication skills - written and verbal
