Job Summary:

Hooray Works Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing tax returns, and assisting with audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse range of clients, providing expert accounting services and ensuring timely completion of tax returns.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including Self-Assessment, Personal, Partnership, and Corporation Tax Returns.
  • Collaborate with the audit team to ensure seamless execution of audits.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Work closely with the bookkeeping and payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA qualification is preferred, but QBE considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of practice experience, with a strong background in audit and corporate tax.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, concise language.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
