Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Key Stage 2 teacher to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Key Stage 2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students, managing classroom behavior, and providing individualized support to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver lesson plans that cater to the needs of students, ensuring a high-quality education and a safe learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment, managing behavior and ensuring students are engaged and motivated.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, working closely with the SEN team to ensure students receive the best possible care and support.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress, providing regular feedback and using this information to inform teaching and improve student outcomes.
  • Safeguarding: Safeguard students, being aware of and adhering to school policies and procedures.

About You:

  • Experience: You must have at least 1 year of teaching experience in the UK.
  • Qualifications: You must hold a PGCE or QTS.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: You must have a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
  • Passion for Teaching: You must have a genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
  • SEN Knowledge: You must have knowledge of special educational needs and be able to provide individualized support to students.
