Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Part Time KS2 Educator to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver fun and engaging lessons, following a lesson plan based on the UK curriculum.
  • Classroom Management: Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Pupil Support: Provide the best possible care and support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess pupil work and progress, providing regular feedback and using this to inform teaching.
  • Safeguarding: Safeguard students and be aware of the policies and procedures in place.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of teaching experience in the UK.
  • Qualifications: PGCE/ QTS.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
  • Passion for Teaching: A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
  • Personality: Caring, patient, and dedicated, with a strong sense of humor.
  • SEN Knowledge: Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and experience of working with students with EHCP.
