Lead Surgical Nurse | Private Healthcare | Competitive Salary | Permanent / Full-Time

Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking a skilled Lead Surgical Nurse to enhance our innovative and dedicated nursing team. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our Surgical Nursing unit, providing exceptional care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate daily nursing activities.
  • Identify and address concerns with the Ward Manager.
  • Mentor and support nursing staff and students.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to team members.
  • Make informed discharge decisions in collaboration with our consultant team.
  • Deliver personalized nursing care and procedures, adhering to hospital policies and standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Ward Manager or team leader to ensure optimal patient care and departmental efficiency.

Candidate Profile:

  • NMC registered with no restrictions or conditions on your pin.
  • A minimum of one year of senior nursing experience is required.
  • Ward experience is preferred for this role.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to excellent patient care.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week with internal rotation from Monday to Sunday.
