Young Offender Behaviour Mentor Role

The school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Young Offender Behaviour Mentor to work with young people aged 11-16 in a Pupil Referral Unit setting.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a positive impact on young people's lives and support them in accessing education.

As a Young Offender Behaviour Mentor, you will provide guidance and support to young people in the classroom and in their social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with young people aged 11-16 in a Pupil Referral Unit setting
  • Provide guidance and support in the classroom and in social and emotional development
  • Support young people in accessing education
  • Work with a team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives
  • Relevant experience working with young offenders or young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive environment
