About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Pharmacy Business Team as a Business and Finance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to the team, including invoicing, ordering stock, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate invoice documentation for services and products supplied by Pharmacy areas, maintaining accurate records within the invoicing system.
  • Take responsibility for purchase ordering of stock and non-stock items, ensuring accurate order paperwork and tracking outstanding orders.
  • Process purchase invoice paperwork, investigating and resolving queries autonomously.
  • Assist with preparation of month-end accruals, prepayments, and VAT Returns.
  • Reconcile systems and reports to ensure all income is captured, rectifying any missed income.
  • Maintain computer entries associated with product manufacture, investigating and correcting anomalies.
  • Assist with preparation of detailed accrued income and cost calculations.
  • Act as a link between Central Finance, Pharmacy, and external customers to resolve invoice and delivery queries.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 GCSEs or equivalent at grade A-C, including English and Maths.
  • NVQ Level 3 in accounting or business administration or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a business or office environment, financial processes, and using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure, and communicate effectively.
