About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Customer Upgrades team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering highly performant, scalable, and mission-critical software systems. Your primary focus will be on developing key internal APIs that will allow existing customer details to be loaded into our new Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing internal APIs to load customer details into the CPaaS
  • Developing new implementations of existing public-facing APIs
  • Understanding data models for existing messaging products to perform entity mapping
  • Participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle
  • Contributing to agile ceremonies, such as stand-ups and planning meetings
  • Working closely with product managers to refine requirements
  • Providing technical support to colleagues
  • Investigating, designing, and planning potential projects and features
  • Supporting team members in delivering to designs and internal standards
  • Assisting in peer and coding reviews
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering high-quality software in modern languages
  • Solid understanding of scalable cloud solutions using development frameworks and languages in C#.NET/.NET Core
  • Demonstrable experience of analyzing ER databases and proposing ETL approaches
  • Demonstrable experience of ETL projects using C#
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing public and private REST API development
  • Creative problem-solving ability and appetite to field support calls
  • Good attention to detail
  • Team working skills
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines
  • Thorough understanding of version control and Agile methodology
