About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a School Service Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the preparation of school meals and providing exceptional customer service to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers.
  • Create visually appealing food and counter displays that showcase our culinary expertise.
  • Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Comply with food handling and hygiene standards, as well as health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and flexible attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar catering-related role is desirable, but not essential.
