Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Step Teachers. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting student learning and development, leading classes in the absence of the regular teacher, and building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Leadership: Lead classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a supportive and productive learning environment for students.
  • Student Support: Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, contributing to a collaborative school community.
  • Subject Expertise: Apply your subject knowledge and expertise to support student learning and engagement across various subjects and age groups.
  • Classroom Management: Assist with classroom management and administrative tasks, honing your organizational and leadership skills.
  • Professional Development: Gain practical experience that aligns with your academic background and interests, helping you make informed decisions about your future career path.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any field.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or related role is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Openness to learning and adapting to new environments, with a passion for making a positive impact in education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and colleagues effectively.
