Job Title: Managing Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our award-winning Energy team in London. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-profile projects in the Power, Transmission & Distribution sector.

About the Role:
  • Manage all commercial aspects of projects, including cost control, risk management, and contract administration.
  • Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Commercial Manager to develop and implement commercial strategies for our Energy projects.
  • Assist in the development and training of Commercial Practitioners, including mentorship and coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial risks, and identify opportunities for margin gains and efficiency improvements.
About You:
  • HND/Degree qualification in a relevant field, such as Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of Standard Forms of Contract and Standard Methods of Measurement.
  • Commercially astute with substantial experience in a commercial role within the Civil Engineering/Construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
