About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Ecolab. As a trusted partner of farmers and food professionals, we believe that hygiene is health, and that health, in turn, is the key to more profitability and sustainability.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the sales budget of our Animal Health Accounts in the UK, with a focus on achieving double-digit growth rates. You will also be responsible for improving the skills of our sales teams and technical teams from our local partners through professional training and field visits at key accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales budget of Animal Health Accounts in the UK, with a focus on achieving double-digit growth rates
  • Improve the skills of sales teams and technical teams from local partners through professional training and field visits
  • Provide technical support, answering technical questions related to our products and biosecurity, and proposing solutions
  • Offer commercial guidance, including follow-up on pricing, orders, and customer service
  • Report to the UKIE Global Animal Health Divisional Manager and establish action plans and sales targets based on agreed strategies
  • Build and maintain strong and long-term relationships with partners in your territory
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of animal production/farming, with specific knowledge of dairy production or the health or nutritional field
  • Minimum third-level qualification in Animal/Food Science, Veterinary, Nutrition, or Bioengineering
  • Deep working experience, dynamic, and entrepreneurial
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time in your territory
  • Ability to work in central England and travel to other areas as required
