Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Data Architect to join our team at Adecco UK LTD. As a Senior SQL Database Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data warehouses for analytical and Business Intelligence purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) and metadata systems for complex subject areas.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret organisational needs and represent them in a data architecture.
  • Design data architecture that addresses problems spanning multiple business areas.
  • Provide oversight and advice to other data and analytics engineers on data artefact design and production.
  • Support the management of data dictionaries and ensure data consistency.
  • Work with technical architects to undertake data profiling and source system analysis.
  • Engage and maintain relationships with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience in designing data warehouses for analytical and Business Intelligence purposes.
  • Strong data modelling skills and experience with data architecture.
  • Excellent SQL and jinja skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with remote teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with dbt and implementing dbt best practices.
  • Programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with building dashboards or data applications.
  • Experience with building CI/CD workflows, ideally with GitHub Actions.

Security Clearance: Active SC clearance is required for this role.
