RedRock Resourcing is seeking a seasoned SQL DBA to lead database management for a leading Managed Service Provider. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL Server administration, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning. Additionally, they will provide mid-level support for Oracle environments, handling backups, monitoring, and tuning. The successful candidate will implement security protocols and ensure compliance in both SQL Server and Oracle databases. They will also proactively monitor and resolve database issues using tools like SSMS and Oracle Enterprise Manager. Furthermore, they will design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies for SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Server, HA solutions, and performance tuning, as well as solid experience in Oracle Database administration, including RMAN and performance tuning. They will also have advanced skills in automating SQL tasks, familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL and UNIX scripting, and experience with cloud-based database services like Azure SQL.
