About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Development Lead to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of new and innovative technologies, processes, or solutions within the allocated area(s) of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deliver systems that help grow the business, explore new technologies and tools to help and advance the technology development and optimise design.
  • Manage a team focused on technology development, providing guidance while ensuring compliance with internal policies, best practices, relevant laws, and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborate with other departments to define technology requirements, leading the solution design process for the given platforms.
Requirements
  • Experience and proficiency in Salesforce platform, including knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Platform, and other relevant products.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce-specific technologies for development and solution building.
  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive value.
  • Knowledge of DevOps best practices; working knowledge of Azure ADO is a plus, experience with Agile Development methodologies like Scrum.

  • Salary: Circa £65,000 - £80,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
  • Bonus opportunity: 12% of annual salary (actual amount depends on performance and Aviva's)
