About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, specialising in schools. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, a passion for grounds maintenance, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our school clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of grounds maintenance operatives in the upkeep of school grounds
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Liaise with school staff and stakeholders to understand their requirements and address any concerns or requests
  • Manage resources, equipment, and materials effectively to optimise productivity and cost-efficiency
  • Uphold health and safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies
  • Undertake hands-on grounds maintenance tasks as required, including mowing, pruning, weeding, and litter picking
