Job Title: Grounds/Garden Maintenance Team Leader/Operative

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum dependent on experience, including winter maintenance projected pay

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled team leader to join our grounds maintenance department, serving a large commercial and domestic customer portfolio.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance operations, including the operation of power tools and ride-on mowers. Attention to detail and quality are essential for delivering exceptional results.

  • Hedge trimming and pruning of shrubs for visual impact using best horticultural practices
  • General site cleansing, collection of litter, sweeping and blowing of surfaces
  • Maintenance and cleaning of tools and vehicles
  • Planning and prioritization of daily site works, ensuring the team's work is of the highest professional standard

A full clean UK driving licence and horticultural level 1/2 qualification are required. The working week includes some Saturdays, with the possibility of winter gritting/snow clearance for commercial clients.
