We are seeking an experienced Soft Services Manager to join our team at Grichan Whitestone Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the domestic security and cleaning teams on a healthcare site in the Oxford area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and control the soft service operation to meet agreed specifications and performance targets.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to delivery teams within the soft services areas of the business.
  3. Ensure excellent service delivery within the soft services team activities and operational objectives.
  4. Support the Contract Manager in delivering domestic, portering, linen, waste, security, reception, and helpdesk services on the sites.
  5. Primarily a management role, managing through others, with a focus on developing their competence, training, and support.
  6. Anticipate and deal with issues, and act as a communication link between senior management and the workforce.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Experience managing soft FM services.
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  3. Strong people management skills, with the ability to think clearly and adapt to changing demands.
  4. Good administrative skills and a track record of success with strong client relationships.
  5. Good financial acumen and ability to work to a budget.
  6. Ability to understand data, spot trends, and prepare reports.
  7. Ability to build strong relationships with customers and manage their expectations.
  8. Proven strategic thinker with the ability to facilitate change where necessary.
  9. Ideal experience in a PFI or healthcare environment.
