Job Title: Project Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineering Manager to join our team at GE Aviation. As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the engineering activities of a project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring that all engineering activities are completed in accordance with the project's safety, quality, time delivery, and cost criteria.
  2. Engineering Management: Manage the project's engineering budget, oversee the design change process, and ensure that all engineering activities are completed in accordance with the project's technical requirements.
  3. Technical Coordination: Coordinate the technical activities of the project, including the preparation of specifications, leading on deviations and clarifications, and attending FATs and SATs.
  4. Design Management: Manage the project's design activities, including the coordination of design changes, the management of the project design budget, and the oversight of the design change process.
  5. Project Coordination: Coordinate the project's activities, including the management of the project schedule, the coordination of the project's technical interfaces, and the management of the project's documentation.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Engineering degree level or equivalent education/experience.
  2. Experience: Experience of engineering activities as lead engineer in EPC type environment.
  3. Skills: Successful experience in project technical management in a multi-disciplinary team's context, including multiple interfaces and with products coming from several countries.
  4. Knowledge: Knowledge of GIS systems is beneficial.
