About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Foreman to join our team in Inverness. As a General Foreman, you will be responsible for the management of site-based construction works, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in creating a safe working environment
  • Day-to-day management of site-based construction works
  • Responsible for effective coordination of resources working on the project
  • Ensure temporary and permanent works are delivered in accordance with the design
  • Careful material and plant management to meet programme and financial targets
  • Assist in planning and programming with site engineering teams
  • Participate in site discipline meetings to aid effective coordination and delivery of the works
  • Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and Permit to Work systems are in place before work commences
About You

We are looking for a candidate with excellent leadership and communication skills, who is able to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. You will have a proven track record of delivering construction projects to a high standard, and be able to read and interpret design drawings.
