- Monitor Production Output: Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead Continuous Improvement Projects: Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with Contractors: Work with third-party contractors to solve problems and develop processes.
- Participate in Capital Improvement Projects: Collaborate with the production team to plan and implement capital improvement projects.
- Work with Various Departments: Collaborate with various departments to achieve management goals.
- Provide Support and Training: Provide support and training to the operations team.
- Review and Improve Equipment and Processes: Review and improve equipment, process control sequencing, and operating procedures.
- Train Production Operators: Train production operators to enhance their process knowledge and technical skills.
- Ensure Effective Communication: Ensure effective communication during shift changes.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Policies: Adhere to company Health & Safety policies at all times.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Process Optimization Specialist with a strong background in process engineering or a related field. The ideal candidate will have:
- Academic Background: Academic background in process engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least five years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record in production technical processes and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with PLCs and Fault-Finding: Experience with PLCs, variable speed drives, and fault-finding.
The following criteria would be an advantage:
- Experience with SCADA Control Systems: Experience with SCADA control systems, pneumatics, and supervisory roles.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing.
