Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Site Operations Specialist to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe management of site operations, preparing for maintenance activities, and addressing any operational concerns that may arise.

Compensation:
£42-50k plus a shift allowance of £7885.

Employment Type:
Full-time, Permanent Staff Position

Shift Schedule:
This position operates on a balanced schedule of 7 days on, 3 days off, followed by 7 nights and 18 days off, with an additional 15 shifts throughout the year. Holiday time is integrated into this pattern.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Safety Management:
    Consistently prioritize safety and intervene in unsafe practices. Adhere to established safety protocols and assist in the investigation of any incidents on site.
  • Operational Duties:
    Conduct maintenance tasks and document any equipment malfunctions. Oversee contractors and prepare machinery for servicing. Maintain performance logs and manage safety permits. Monitor well operations and liaise with the production team.
  • Environmental Stewardship:
    Recognize and mitigate environmental risks. Address any environmental challenges that may occur.
  • Emergency Preparedness:
    Participate in emergency response teams and fire drills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of a trade apprenticeship.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors.
  • Technical qualifications such as HNC or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with safety and operational protocols.
