We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Manager to join our team at East Renfrewshire Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on staff and resident consultation during the development and delivery of capital investment project briefs and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on staff and resident consultation during the development and delivery of capital investment project briefs and specifications.
- Be the central point of contact for tenants in relation to projects/works programmes and ensure that their enquiries are dealt with professionally and efficiently.
- Assist with and/or undertake the preparation, delivery and monitoring of capital programmes and other Housing Services contracts.
- Be a central point of contact for internal, external contractors and other Council departments in relation to capital works.
- Assist the Asset Management Surveyor with the effective development, management and monitoring of ERC Housing's Asset Management IT data base (APEX).
- Support, assist and cover for other officers within the Property, Capital & Asset Management team, undertaking generic inspections and maintenance repairs functions where requested by their manager.
- Proven experience in asset management and/or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and data.
Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
