Adjusting Appointments Limited is seeking an experienced Property Claims Handler to support the Claims Management Team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for recording new property losses from policyholders and brokers, providing advice on policy cover, claim process, and loss mitigation.
  • They will handle property claims, typically up to £50,000 in value, on a cradle-to-grave basis, including negotiation, settlement, and repudiations.
  • The ideal candidate will produce high-quality preliminary, interim, and final reports for submission to insurers.
  • They will obtain policy information from cover holders and check policy cover.
  • Additionally, they will appoint and manage loss adjusters and suppliers.

About the Role:

  • The Property Claims Handler will work closely with the Claims Management Team to ensure seamless claim handling and customer satisfaction.
  • They will be responsible for prioritizing claims and their own workload, ensuring timely and efficient claim resolution.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in property claims handling and come from an insurance or loss adjusting background.
  • They will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
