Tax Senior Professional

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent, is seeking a highly skilled Personal Tax Senior to join a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in Dover. This role offers a unique blend of compliance tax matters and advisory work, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, including personal tax clients and partnerships, to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance.
- Provide expert advisory services on Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and Estate planning to clients, utilizing your knowledge and experience to deliver exceptional results.
- Prepare various tax forms, including P11ds, PSA, ATEDs, and elections, to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and HMRC through various channels, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and expertise.
- Meet with potential new clients and assist with client onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition and excellent customer experience.
- AAT or ATT qualified, or qualified by experience, with at least 3 years of experience working within an accountancy practice environment or personal tax position.
- Experience of preparing tax returns for Manager or Partner review and proficiency in relevant tax computation software.
- A highly competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000, negotiable based on experience and background.
