Your Role:

As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Energy division, engaging in projects that center around trading operations. This is a remarkable chance to be involved in delivering IT solutions that underpin the transformation of the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and document business requirements, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to explore viable solution alternatives.
  2. Manage requirements throughout the entire solution delivery lifecycle and ensure knowledge transfer to the support team.
  3. Analyze and model processes, data flows, and technologies to assess current value and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring they are informed and their expectations are managed effectively.
  5. Connect technical solutions with business strategies when liaising with business partners.
  6. Collaborate effectively within a large organization, demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the energy trading sector.
  2. Familiarity with the commodity trade lifecycle in energy markets.
  3. Ability to capture business challenges, value drivers, and both functional and non-functional requirements, producing clear documentation for communication.
  4. Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Front Office - pricing, P&L, and exposure management.
    • Middle Office - Market Risk and Risk Valuation.
    • Back Office - Confirmations, Settlements processes, and/or accounting practices.
  5. A collaborative team player who proactively shares insights and experiences within a diverse team environment.
  6. Experience in data analytics from both technical and business perspectives.
