Residential Support Worker Vacancy

Job Title: Residential Support Worker
Location: East Coast of England
Home Name: Sycamore House
Hours: 40.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins

Salary: £24,850 - £28,475 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker at Hexagon Care Services, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a specialist residential setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists and therapists, to deliver tailored care plans and promote the well-being and independence of the young people in your care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people with ASD
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and supportive living environment

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in childcare or a related field
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
  • Full driving license
