We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team at CL:AIRE. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading projects and initiatives that promote sustainable land management across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Manage the development of technical projects and initiatives in sustainable land management, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Initiative Promotion: Present and promote CL:AIRE initiatives and services, such as the Definition of Waste Code of Practice (DoW CoP), to industry professionals and stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate partnerships and collaborations to enhance project outcomes and expand CL:AIRE's influence in the industry.
- Coordination: Manage and steer working groups to achieve project objectives.
- Liaison Role: Act as the key contact between task groups and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Technical Writing: Draft technical proposals, reports, and case studies to support project development and implementation.
- Training Support: Assist in delivering CL:AIRE's training programs to industry professionals.
- Additional Support: Contribute to other tasks needed to support the CL:AIRE group, as required.
- A degree in Earth or Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Aggregates Quality Protocol, DoW CoP, and relevant land quality guidance and legislation.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in leading projects and initiatives in sustainable land management.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging with industry professionals.
- Strong organizational and self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with office attendance three times a week.
