About St Albans Education Group

We are seeking a high-calibre Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic leadership and support the Principal in implementing our ambitious vision and strategy. The COO will oversee a multi-disciplinary team operating a critical central support function, ensuring the effective management and delivery of services including finance, HR, commercial activities, estates, health and safety, administration, compliance, IT, cleaning, and catering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and steer the Group's infrastructure and operational strategy
  • Oversee the management and delivery of support services
  • Collaborate with the Principal to implement the Group's vision and strategy
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team and ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic, commercially-minded, and experienced leader who can drive the infrastructure and operational strategy of STAEG through a collaborative and enabling style. Alignment with our values and ethos is essential. Applications are encouraged from candidates with commercial, private sector, charitable, and other non-profit sector backgrounds.
