Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Provide timely and effective support to customers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Order Administration and Management
    • Manage customer orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
    • Proactively manage the order book, anticipating customer needs and identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer service and order administration.
    • Provide regular updates and insights to the sales and order administration team, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting process enhancements.
  • Pricing and Price Increase
    • Process cement pricing updates and calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
    • Assist with the implementation of price increases, communicating with stakeholders and customers as required.
  • Query Management and Resolution
    • Process and resolve customer queries in a timely and effective manner, ensuring that all issues are addressed and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
    • Monitor and review query reasons and order reasons to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Projects and Training
    • Coach and train team members on process and procedures, ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Assist with the development and implementation of new processes and procedures, ensuring that they are accurate, compliant, and effective.
  • General
    • Provide full end-to-end knowledge of processes across orders and sales administration.
    • Liaise with commercial and operational staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Comply with company policies and procedures, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with company standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications
    • Minimum of a Grade C at GCSE in Maths and English.
    • Excellent knowledge of SAP, Syncrotess systems, and standard office packages.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Good communication and analytical skills, with the ability to negotiate at all levels.
    • Experience of working within a large company environment and achieving targets.
  • What's on Offer
    • Salary: £27,000 - £28,000.
    • Location: Syston.
    • Working Hours: Rotational shift basis.
