At OCS Group, we are seeking a Security Break Officer who will be accountable for ensuring the safety and security of designated facilities and personnel at a dynamic client location.
Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 18:00, totaling 50 hours per week on a permanent full-time basis.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing first-line support to employees and visitors, delivering a courteous and professional service.
- Monitoring fire, security, and building systems.
- Managing service area barriers and overseeing traffic flow.
- Completing assigned tasks efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Facilitating clear and accurate communication with Reception and the Gatehouse.
- Following the incident escalation process and maintaining logs in the SCR logs.
- Submitting accurate data on required documentation and reports to your supervisor.
- Monitoring operational staff to ensure adherence to Assignment instructions and SOPs, escalating issues to the Controller/Security Manager as necessary.
- Conducting shift-based equipment serviceability checks and keeping precise records.
- Restricting access to the Security Control Room and ensuring visitors are admitted according to access protocols, while safeguarding sensitive data such as CCTV footage and incident details.
- Implementing emergency procedures as outlined in the Incident and Emergency Plan.
- Handling all inquiries and communications with professionalism and a focus on customer interests.
- Collaborating closely with fellow officers, including those in Reception, the Gatehouse, and the Security Manager.
To excel in this position, you will need:
- Experience in the Security Industry is advantageous.
- An SIA licence is mandatory.
- A First Aid at Work qualification.
- Ideally, two years of experience in the security sector.
- A professional demeanor, sound judgment, and integrity.
