Job Summary
OCS Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises and personnel.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional first-line manned guarding services to assigned contracts.
- Ensure all assigned duties are completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Comply with all relevant legislation, including health and safety regulations, SIA licensing, and risk assessments.
- Protect the security and safety of identified buildings and personnel in accordance with contract assignment instructions.
- Perform all duties with honesty, ethics, and professionalism.
- Carry out reasonable requests as identified by your line manager.
Requirements
- A good general level of education.
- SIA License (Manned Guarding).
- Previous experience working in a customer-focused environment, ideally within the security industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interact with all levels within an organization.
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
- A professional demeanor.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and integrity.
- Ability to work proactively with others.
- Good level of computer literacy.
Health and Safety Responsibilities
- Ability to follow policy and procedures.
- Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channels.
