Facilities and Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Oxford. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining all plant and machinery, ensuring all works are completed in accordance with H&S policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all plant and machinery, including preventative maintenance and reactive work.
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with H&S policies and procedures.
  • Assist and support the supervision of sub-contractors for Facilities and Property Department.
  • Understand and work with Planet (work control) system, ensuring work/job sheets are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Complete works to meet departmental targets, SLA's & KPI's.
  • Collaborate with line-manager/team to deliver best practices and develop cost reduction/initiatives.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure support and requirements are delivered to agreed timescales/standards.
Requirements:
  • Technically highly skilled in both mechanical and electrical functions - 18th Edition.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Experience of mechanical and electrical plants.
  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent (English language and Mathematics are essential).
  • Ability to work to targets and timescales.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Quality focused.
  • Mechanical competence.
  • Self-motivated with a 'get up and go' attitude.
