Additionally, you will play a crucial role in delivering rehabilitation services both within the ward and the gym as required. Accurate record-keeping and providing a streamlined service will be essential aspects of your position.

Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Rehabilitation Support Specialist, you will:

Collaborate with the inpatient physiotherapy team to support post-operative rehabilitation and guarantee a secure discharge for patients. Assist physiotherapists with administrative functions and inventory management. Support physiotherapists in administering rehabilitation both on the ward and in the gym when necessary. Maintain precise records and ensure an efficient service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

As a Rehabilitation Support Specialist, you should possess:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient communication abilities for in-person, telephone, and electronic correspondence. Prior experience in a customer-facing role. Competence in using computer systems, particularly electronic patient record systems. An NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or a commitment to achieving this qualification.
