Employee Relations Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to join our team at Northumbrian Water. As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our managers with the effective management of Employee Relations cases.
Key Responsibilities- Provide coaching and guidance to managers with queries or cases being managed under our ER policies and procedures.
- Manage your own individual caseload, with supervision from an ER Specialist where required.
- Work alongside ER Specialists to support more complex cases to resolution.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a suite of template documentation to support our ER processes.
- Data will drive the decisions you make, identifying learning and development opportunities for Managers and the people function.
If you have a passion for people and a willingness to continuously learn and develop your skills, we want to hear from you. You will demonstrate a commitment to maintaining up-to-date ER and Employment law knowledge, as well as innovative thinking to support our continuous improvement mindset.
You will have experience communicating with people at various levels of seniority, including communicating specialist terms into simple, easy-to-understand terminology. You will also have experience building trusting relationships with key stakeholders, such as trade unions and employee reps, to support key negotiations and case resolution.
