We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children Panel Lawyer - Solicitor/CILEX to join our team at RecruitPedia. As a key member of our Child Care department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to child care law.

About the Role:

  • Advise and assist clients in all aspects of child care law, including public law, child protection, Special Guardianship Orders (SGO), and adoption matters.
  • Work closely with our team to manage complex caseloads and provide advocacy services to ensure consistency for our clients.
  • Undertake a variety of work, including court appearances and negotiations with local authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other professionals in the field.
  • Contribute to the development of our team and the growth of our Child Care department.

About You:

  • You have a strong passion for publicly funded work and a keen desire to develop your skills and expertise in child care law.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals.
  • You are a team player with a positive and supportive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • You hold a Law Society's Children Law accreditation and have a strong understanding of child care law and procedures.
  • You have excellent client care skills and are able to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
