P&S Personnel is seeking a talented Test Engineer to enhance our client's engineering team. This full-time, permanent position is essential for maintaining the integrity and performance of our products.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in verifying the quality and dependability of electro-mechanical systems through rigorous testing and fault diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
  • Operate within a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.
  • Assess intricate electronic systems while adhering to strict timelines.
  • Detect and rectify faults, documenting all test outcomes meticulously.
  • Facilitate customer witness factory acceptance evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an apprenticeship in electronics or electro-mechanical engineering.
  • Attainment of at least NVQ / City & Guilds level 3 in a related field.
  • Prior experience in a comparable position.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering schematics and circuit diagrams.
  • Expertise in soldering, splicing, and utilizing electronic testing apparatus.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Mil Spec Connectors and cable manufacturing methods.
  • Awareness of ESD protocols and experience in PCB assembly.
  • A collaborative team player with a robust work ethic.
