Urology Nurse Practitioner

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking an experienced Urology Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our urological services.

• Provide specialist knowledge and skills in urological nursing to the multidisciplinary team.
• Manage a caseload autonomously, making decisions on care based on your interpretations, analysis, and options available.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols in urology.
• Plan, manage, and facilitate nurse-led clinics, including prostate clinics, TWOC clinics, and LUTS clinics.
• Deputise for the Nurse Practitioner for Urology as needed.

• NMC registered Nurse.
• BAUS or equivalent Flexible cystoscopy course.
• Degree in Nursing or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.

• Master's Degree or working towards.
• Supplementary/Independent prescribing qualification or working towards.
• Counselling qualification.

• Appropriate and demonstrable experience in Urology clinical practice.
• Previous experience at Band 6.
• Experience of autonomous practice within Urology.
