Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Events Operations Manager to join our team at Gateway Hospitality Recruitment. As an Events Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing high-end events and weddings at luxury venues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate events in line with the Event Sheet
- Manage and supervise team members
- Discuss and finalize event formats with clients
- Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless event execution
- Supervise and run events on the day
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a meeting and events department or restaurant at a 4 or 5-star hotel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Awareness of business and upselling skills
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
