Pharmacy Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to fill the role of Pharmacy Manager at our private hospital in Chatham, Kent. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading our pharmacy team and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to consultants, clinicians, and patients on medication management and safety
  • Lead and manage the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement quality improvement projects to enhance pharmacy services
  • Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure seamless medication management
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation and clinical guidelines
Requirements:
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 4 years of experience working as a Clinical Pharmacist in a hospital setting in the UK
  • Managerial experience in a pharmacy setting in the UK is essential
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
