Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Administrator to join our team at Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service. As a key member of our Procurement Team, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement of goods, works, and services in an ethical and legally compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for the Procurement Team, directing calls and messages to the relevant Procurement Officer or Senior Procurement Officer.
- Provide general administrative support to the Procurement Manager, including producing reports and collating information.
- Support the development and maintenance of systems such as SharePoint and the Procurement Connect Site.
- You will meet the essential requirements as listed on the Person Specification.
- You will have excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- You will have excellent attention to detail with the ability to ensure your work is completed to the highest standard, adhering to Service procedures.
- You will have a willingness to learn and undertake professional development by completing a CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply.
