About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at Fawkes & Reece South. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for managing complex projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend tender interviews and assist with the pre-construction and design process
  • Compile and issue technical submittals in standard format
  • Obtain, review, and qualify subcontractor quotes to ensure specification compliance and best value
  • Plan and manage labour on allocated projects, including subcontract and agency labour
  • Assist with the production of project programmes and monitor progress against them
  • Oversee the procurement of plant and sundry materials to ensure best value and efficiency
  • Liaise with clients, main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Produce quality manuals and ensure QA procedures are followed
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and industry regulations
  • Monitor and report on project budgets and provide MCA information to project surveyors
  • Produce O&M manuals and complete subcontractor/supplier report forms at project completion
Requirements
  • Good level of awareness of industry-specific safety regulations and issues
  • IT literacy, including Microsoft Office 365 products and construction software
  • Experience in managing complex projects, including major and small works
  • Relevant technical qualifications and skills
