**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Approved Mental Health Professional to join our Working Age Social Work Team at St Helens Council. As an Approved Mental Health Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of our service, providing a high level of support to our service users and NHS colleagues in Mental Health Services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Coordinate referrals for Mental Health Act Assessments and ensure timely completion of statutory elements.
  • Work closely with the Emergency Duty Team to provide AMHP cover out of hours and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Undertake other work under the statutory functions of the Mental Health Act 1983 as required.
