About the Role

Glasdon UK Limited is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our Purchasing team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimising our supply chain for efficiency and cost effectiveness, while ensuring alignment with our commitment to ESG principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the Purchasing function, including analysis of supply chain metrics.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies and process improvements to enhance supply chain capabilities and reduce environmental impact.
  • Develop supply chain contingency plans and implement supply chain risk management programs.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, develop supplier relationships, and manage supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with the in-house supply chain team (Research and Development, Product Design, QA, and Sales).
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of optimising processes and driving efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or qualified/part qualified CIPS.
  • Strategic knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of the supply chain process.
  • Familiarity with commercial computer systems.
