Job Summary:
Lifeways Group is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to join our team. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of support workers to deliver excellent person-centred care and support to individuals with learning difficulties, autism, and other needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of support workers to ensure high-quality care and support is delivered.
- Recruit and develop support workers through staff supervisions, candidate interviews, and providing guidance and expertise.
- Ensure that individuals receive person-centred care and support to enable them to live a fulfilling and independent life.
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the service, including staff supervision and performance management.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and implement care plans and strategies to meet the needs of individuals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker in a similar setting.
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence and be willing to drive company cars.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
