Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Community Mental Health

Hunter AHP Resourcing is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a community and residential home environment. As part of our community mental health team, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary therapy team to provide mental health care for patients in the community and local care/nursing homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a community-based team to provide occupational therapy services to patients in the community and residential homes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to promote independence and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Band 6 equivalent experience in community mental health.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred).
