About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our community mental health team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the community mental health team
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months
  • Approved clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in psychiatry, with a strong focus on community care
