About the Role
As a software development engineer at Tesco, you will be part of a dynamic team that builds technology to make a real impact on our customers. Our software engineering programme is designed to equip you with the right knowledge and skills to become a future engineering leader. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from front-end customer experiences to back-end services, using agile principles to protect customer data, automate processes, and build large-scale systems.

Responsibilities
You will experience the breadth of software engineering, working in several teams, including front and back-end development teams, as well as a placement in Tesco Labs. You will be paired with other engineers and work closely with product managers to build software for our customers or colleagues. Our software engineering teams work across London and Welwyn offices, with the possibility of placements in either location.

Requirements
We are looking for graduates with a passion for technology, a 2:2 degree, and the ability to write quality code. Although a degree in computer science is not necessary, you must be able to demonstrate your coding skills. We value individuals who are keen to learn and build their skills, and who enjoy working with new technologies.
