Senior Lecturer in Primary Education

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lecturer in Primary Education to join our team at Nottingham Trent University. As a key member of our Institute of Education, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of primary education.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in primary education, with experience in teaching and leading in school settings. You will be responsible for leading our PGCE Primary ITE Course and teaching across both our postgraduate and undergraduate courses. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting our trainees and ensuring they receive the best possible education.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about primary education, has excellent communication skills, and is able to bring out the best in staff. You will be part of a large and supportive team of primary specialist colleagues and will contribute to both subject-specific and general professional provision.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the HEI sector, prior experience of course leadership, and a thorough understanding of current issues in primary education. You will be able to analyze data to inform developments in the provision and ensure excellent student outcomes and experience. Experience of preparing for Ofsted inspections is essential.
